FAQ
Please take a look at our frequently asked questions. We will be happy to help if you have any other questions.
Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition and lifestyle medicine sciences in the promotion of health, peak performance, and individual care. Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (RNTP) assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows us to work with children and young people with epilepsy and autism to address nutritional imbalances and help support the body towards maintaining optimal health. Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal, using gentle, natural remedies and lifestyle changes. For families with children with epilepsy, seizures and neurodiversity, it offers practical ways to promote well-being through nutrition, herbal medicine, essential oils, homeopathy, music and healthy habits, helping to prevent common illnesses, optimise recovery, mitigate medication side effects and maintain overall health. Naturopathy prioritises safe, non-invasive methods such as dietary and supplementary advice, stress management, and physical activity, making it suitable for children. The aim is to support the body’s natural processes and promote long-term wellness for the whole family.
We recommend at least 2 consultations to enable your child to gently transition to new foods, supplements and lifestyle suggestions and to give you the time to learn about the resources, options and tools to continue dietary changes long-term. You may also like to consider functional laboratory testing and work with us to personalise recommendations for your child further. You will oversee how many sessions you would like to have to best support your child.
